Alyssa Henke graduated from Davidson College, a small liberal arts school here in North Carolina, with degrees in Political Science and Mathematics. During undergrad, she was involved in various organizations, including the Pre-Law Society, Center for Political Engagement, and the Davidson Disability Alliance. Additionally, she interned at New Politics Leadership Academy – a nonprofit in D.C. that helped former members of service get politically engaged.

Since she’s originally from Illinois, you will frequently find Alyssa enjoying time outside in the sun and asking locals for recommendations of new hiking spots. Alyssa also enjoys reading, baking, crocheting, and just about any other old lady hobby you can imagine. 

She hopes to attend law school in the future but is eager to gain experience in the field first. If she is not at her desk, you will probably find her hanging out with Dottie, our Head of Puplick Relations.
